Interesting day

Blogging has been light lately. Been spending time up in the Muskoka region of Ontario. Its been great to escape the heat of the city.

A few thoughts today:

1. Thankfully today London managed to draw a bit of luck and avoided what could have been another black day.

2. Gay couple gets a marriage license in Alberta. Its seem odd that Ralph backed down so quickly on that one, but hopefully this marks a turning point in Canada. I honestly hope the Conservative Party is just playing to its base and does not bring this issue back to the House.

3. Drug tunnel in BC. I give credit where credit is due -- great job by both Canada and the United States on this bust. A job well done.

Well...back to the cottage for me.
