Memorandum to the Prime Minister

Issue:

Liberal Party members returning back to work for the government over the holiday break.

Current Status:

During the last three weeks, the Public Service of Canada, in conjunction with the Cabinet, have not encountered any major disruptions in service delivered to Canadians caused by the election.

Recommendation:

Persons who have taken leave from their normal government positions to assist the Liberal Party of Canada's election effort, should remain off the government of Canada payroll. Your professional civil servants are able to handle the next three weeks without them.
